Mission Statement
ENRICHING LIVES is the core purpose at The Wagnalls Memorial. We offer a community center, library, museum, and theatre with many kinds of opportunities and activities. Scholarships are also provided to area youth.
Description
Wagnalls Memorial Foundation 150 E. Columbus St., Lithopolis. Open Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This 1925 Tudor-Gothic building, built by Anna Wagnalls Jones to honor the memory of Adam and Anna Wagnalls, (Funk & Wagnalls Publ.), houses a theatre, three libraries, an art gallery, banquet hall, meeting rooms, and two tower rooms. The memorial features original paintings, O'Henry writings, Chinese art, intricate wood carvings, a Japanese doll collection, and a bell collection. (614) 837-4765. www.wagnalls.org.
