Mission Statement

When it comes to charity, most of us want to help people that are less fortunate than we are. But often times, we feel discouraged to give because we believe taht it is hard for one person to make a difference or we may not have the time to really get involved in charity work or we do not know where our money is going. With those thoughts in mine, we started Give & Grow.

Give and Grow focuses on education. Having a young child recieve a good eduation is arguably the most important gift we could give. Children who are properly educated are much more likely to contribute positively to society and are much less likely to commit crimes. A child with an education is a child with a future. We can make a difference if we work together.

Description

Give & Grow Targets schools in our local communities that are disadvantaged. As a group we help in three ways:

  • Create - The mission of Create is to enhance local schools through improvements in their grounds and buildings that will facilitate learning and growing
  • Educate - The mission of Educate is to provide students with academic and extracurricular support in an effort to "break the cycle" in areas of high need
  • Donate - The mission of Donate is to support our local schools and students through our scholarship program, school supply donations and financial support for schools and student groups
