Description

Listen to Children Program is a mentoring program in which a trained volunteer is matched with a child on a one-to-one basis. The volunteer meets with the child once a week for 30-45 minutes throughout the whole school year. The two develop a friendship that encourages the child to choose from alternatives in solving problems, expand thinking, verbalize feelings and develop increased non-judmental communication skills.
