Mission Statement

Louisiana Senior Olympic Games is a non-profit organization that promotes wellness and improved quality of life for people 50+ through sports and physical training and active involvement.

Description

We plan, promote, and conduct a statewide program, which includes competitive games in eight districts throughout the state, plus the annual State Games in Baton Rouge. LSOG also serves as the qualifying site for the biennial National Senior Games - "The Senior Olympics". The State Games are held each year in the fall, early September through late October in Baton Rouge.
