Mission Statement

To enrich lives and communities in an economically disadvantaged are through the production of high-quality classical music.

1. Provide performances, workshops, lectures, demonstrations and master classes for adults and children from which participants can learn, grow and find enjoyment.

2. Provide a high-level, summer, Midwest performance venue for musicians, both signers and instrumentalists.

3. Enchance Michigan's reputation in the arts through the excellence of our productions and performances.

4. Strengthen our communities through the presentation of music, utilizing extensive community collaboration, and enhance tourism and the economic vitality of the region.

Description

The Pine Mountain Music Festival (PMMF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which produces and tours professional quality opera, symphony, chamber music, and an ever-changing variety of other concerts each June and July, throughout the Central and Western U.P. We pride ourselves on providing not only quality entertainment, but also an educational experience for our audiences, our young opera singers, our aspiring musicians who play along-side professionals, and the thousands of school children who benefit from our OPERAtion Imagination program each year.
