The mission of the Cobb Department of Family and Children Services is to assist at-risk children, adults, and families in achieving maximum levels of stability, health, safety, self-sufficiency, and well-being.

Description

Cobb County Department of Family and Children Services' Volunteer Services provides resources for foster care, child protective services, and the office of family independence. Community volunteers make it possible for children placed in foster care to participate in extra-curricular activities, attend field trips, purchase school pictures, go to prom, and be involved in activities and experiences that state funds can't provide. Volunteer Services also administers the holiday programs and other foster care events. Volunteer Services provide, creates, or locates resources to help strengthen families in the Cobb County community.

I have talked to other Families and stated that Cobb County do good work for families. I want to be a foster mother. There are many children that needs love and guidance. My children are all grown now.
