Mission Statement
The Oregon Adult Immunization Coalition, a statewide network of health and community partners, will promote prevention and control of vaccine-preventable disease through immunization of adults in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Description
We are a coaliton of individuals, agencies, and programs from the public and private sectors. We share a vision that no adults living in Oregon and SW Washington bear the burden of disease and premature death from vaccine preventable diseases.
The Coalition consists of a Steering Committee and several workgroups. We put on three vaccine educational events each year, provide education on vaccination to providers and the public, and work to create resources on adult immunizations.
One of our workgroups provides free vaccination clinics to underserved populations during flu season.
