Hometown Health Centers will continue its commitment to provide high quality, cost-effective health care to residents of Schenectady County, with particular concern for services to low income residents who live in the service area of the Health Center. This care will be comprehensive in scope with special attention to the changing and competitive environment.

Description

Hometown Health Centers (HHC) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center located in the City of Schenectady, NY, and has been providing comprehensive primary medical and dental services to the medically underserved since 1972. Special populations served include HIV/AIDS, homeless, perinatal, children, geriatrics and the uninsured. Services provided on-site include perinatal care and education, nutrition, social work, cancer screening, lead testing, OB/GYN, basic laboratory, HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, dental extractions, fillings, x-rays, dentures, podiatry, optometry, and WIC.
