Mission Statement

UCLA BruinCorps, in partnership with the AmeriCorps VISTA program, is a non-profit organization that is committed to serving communities across the United States. At several middle schools and high schools throughout Los Angeles, UCLA BruinCorps members have established College Career Centers to enable both students and parents' educational goals. Outreach programs ensure that parents become involved in students' plans for attending college. Through education about financial aid, high school graduation requirements and college admissions, students who may not have envisioned college in their future receive information to make attending possible. For these students, higher education can be a way out of poverty.
