Mission Statement

Canine Crusaders of Atlanta is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused and neglected dogs across the Atlanta area. Our focus is to find responsible and loving homes for every dog that enters our program. We have a lifelong obligation to each dog that comes to us and we do our best to make the best possible placement, matching each dog with the right home.

We have several needs for our rescue. First, we have a huge need for foster homes to foster a dog temporarily until they get adopted. We have several sweet dogs living in a boarding kennel and who really need to be in a home environment. All vet care as well as supplies like a crate, leash, collar and toys are provided to foster homes. Foster homes are truly valuable to our group and help save the lives of these dogs. Without foster homes, we can't do what we do and rescue these innocent dogs. We provide all vet care and supplies to our fosters and you provide the home and the love! It's a very rewarding experience and truly appreciated. Secondly, we need volunteers to help with our dog adoptions on Saturdays in Marietta from 12-4. Third, we need help transporting a few of our boarding dogs from a kennel in Smyrna to our adoptions at Petsmart in Marietta. It's a 20-30 min drive from the kennel to Petsmart and we need people who are dog savvy and know how to handle dogs. Email for more info or if you can help, caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com.
