Alfred SmithSr. Training Academy is a Allen Temple Housing and Economic Develpoment Corporation.It is a Faith Base Organization that provides career training and development to those returning from prison so they can become self-sufficent, build strong family and community connections and avoid re-offending.

Description

Theory of Change

a. Have consistent and on-going interaction with those committed to assisting them in changing the social and workplace behaviors;

b.Receive instruction in enviroments that recognize and meet their individual and group needs;

c.Have access to opportunities learn viable employment skills and understand hiring practices;

d. Engage in activities designed to reinforce positive workplace and social behaviors

Outcome: relize positive employment outcomes in careers that pay family sustaining wages and avoid the negative behaviors that lead to re-incarceration
