Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, non-profit organization committed to providing affordable housing opportunities to families of modest means. Habitat's philosophy is that everyone deserves, at least, a simple and decent place in which to live and grow.

Habitat for Humanity is a highly effective non-profit organization. It can also work hand-in-hand with St. Mary's Food Bank. It would not only "open doors" for the community to grow, but it can also become another court ordered process for those individuals serving probation. Volunteering is a life changing activity, which in some cases, is just what troubled individuals need. Due to recent natural disasters and economic job loss, this organization allows victim relief.
