Women for Women

Mission Statement

The mission of Women for Women is to provide safe shelter, food, clothing, education and training to victims of Obstetric Fistula.

We have various phases of our operation. First and for most we provide the above services to our women. Some of the residents of our home come to us as young as five years old. We provide these services until they are old enough to receive their corrective surgeries. The other phase is to provide housing and training to those women that cannot be healed by the corrective surgeries. We do this by placing these women in homes in the community, teaching them hygienic rituals and training and placing them in self supporting jobs.
