Mission Statement

The mission of Access DuPage is to provide medical services to low-income medically uninsured residents of DuPage County.

Description

Access DuPage is a collaborative effort by hundreds of individuals and organizations in DuPage County to provide access to medical services to the county's low income medically uninsured residents.

Access DuPage represents a unique partnership of hospitals, physicians, local government, human services agencies, and community groups working together to address this formidable issue.

Organized in 2001, Access DuPage began enrolling members into the Access DuPage program in February of 2002. At any given moment in time, Access DuPage provides a broad continuum of health care services including primary care, lab and diagnostic services, specialty care, and medication to more than 6,000 enrollees. Annually Access DuPage serves more than 10,000 patients per year.

Every dollar spent by Access DuPage in direct expense is matched by at least ten dollars in donated services.
