The mission of Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR) is to eliminate all forms of sexual violence and to advocate for the rights of victims of sexual assault.

Description

Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR) is a vital non-profit organization providing 35 years of service to survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse and their families in Philadelphia. One of the country's first and largest rape crisis centers, WOAR was founded in 1972 and has provided services to more than 120,000 children and adults. We provide free services to people regardless of background, age or gender who have experienced sexual abuse or assault.
