Mission Statement

The Arab-American Family Support Center (AAFSC) provides comprehensive social services to Arab American immigrant families and children throughout the New York City area. Established in 1993, AAFSC strives to address the unique needs of the Arab immigrant population across the city through a variety of programs, services and activities.

AAFSC's mission is to help Arab immigrant families comfortably acclimate into American society in order to enable them to become more active participants in their communities. We provide a wide range of services, including adult ESL classes, legal assistance, after-school youth programs, access to healthcare and child welfare preventive services.

AAFSC's Youth Program seeks to empower Arab American youth to build leadership skills through peer support as well as academic, cultural and recreational activities.
