Description

HADC was the first nonprofit housing developer to operate in the Allentown area. HADC continues to serve as the city's primary resource for rahabilitating blighted properties. Since 1978 HADC has renovated more than 230 family units for resale to first-time low income home-buyers. HSDC is alsoalso engaged in new construction of townhouses.

HADC operates its own work apprenticeship program, providing on-the-job training in the construction trades to unskilled neihborborhood residents.

HADCE also operates a rental program of 42 units for income-eligible individuals and families.
