Description

McKinney Falls State Park provides a quiet, natural retreat from the busy city of Austin located just minute away. Trails throughout the park lead visitors to two small waterfalls, and Indian rock shelter, the ruins of an old homestead, a horse-trainer's cabin and the ruins of a grist mill. The park offers a wildflower-lined, pawed hike-and-bike trail as well as a more rugged trail ideal for mountain biking.
