Every person has the right to live free of sexual assault. We are moving to end sexual assault and the suffering it causes in our community. We challenge all forms of oppression and recognize their connection to sexual violence.

Description

Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) is a non profit organization founded in 1972 in response to the abduction, rape and shooting of two young girls in Boulder County. Originally called HARM (Humans Against Rape and Molestation) and then the Boulder County Rape Crisis Team, the name was changed in 2001 to Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) to better reflect the scope of the organization's mission and work in Boulder County.
