Mission Statement

The mission of the Portland Oregon Visitors Association is to strengthen the regions economy by marketing the metropolitan Portland region as a preferred destination for meetings, conventions, and leisure travel.

Description

During each four hour shift volunteers and interns are responsible for providing assistance to walk-in visitors, conduct daily visitor center activities that include answering telephone inquiries at POVA's call center, filling brochure racks and ringing up occassional retail sales. Have some knowledge of places of interest, special events,transportation,dining and lodging in Portland and Oregon.
