Our citizen volunteers will provide emotional first aid to survivors of tragedy in order to ease their immediate suffering and facilitate their healing and long term recovery.
Description
TIP is a specially trained group of citizen volunteers who provide emotional and practical support to survivors of traumatic events and their families within the first few hours following a tragedy at the request of greater Portland area first responders and staff at Maine MEdical Center.
