Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Trust (PKMMT)
PKMMT was established in 2004 with an objective to participate in the development of Nepal through social and charitable work.
The guiding principle of the Trust is "Community Development through Philanthropy". The Trust has widely invested in the promotion of education and healthcare facilities, spirituality, sports, arts, culture and literature and many other areas of charitable work.
The Trust has a vision of working with the citizens of Karjanha, Siraha, to create a model village with quality health care, educational and self-employment generation facilities.
Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital (PKMMH)
The foundation stone of the Hospital building was laid by then Prime Minister of Nepal Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda’ on 13th October 2008. The Hospital was inaugurated by the President of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran Yadav on the 4 th of May 2012.
PKMMH is one of the most ambitious projects undertaken by the Trust. Inhabitants of two municipalities along with 106 villages are directly and indirectly benefited from the Hospital.
The Hospital serves people of the eastern region of Nepal and particularly Siraha, Dhanusha and Udaypur districts. People from many districts across the border in India have also been benefitted
