Open Door Equine Inc.

Description

For the equines Open Door Equine Inc. rescues neglected and abused horses, we provide re-training for former race horses in various fields. The horses we rescue and retrain are either put into our therapy programs, are given jobs as lesson horses, are responsably re-homed, and or are leased as a part of our equine education program.

For the community we offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and corporate team building. Stacey Sheley and Beth Bastien are both certified through EAGALA. We offer our serices to the general public, woman's groups, the military population, at-risk youth, police officers, fire and rescue as well as EMT.

As a part of our earned income we are also a boarding facility, offer riding lessons in; English, Dressage, jumping, western, showmanship, and lessons in how-to training for the at-home horses.

We are a Not-For-Profit functioning under faduciary agency as we work towards our own 501(c)(3).
