Mission Statement

Equity in Partnership Microlending is the Christian solution to fair financing products and services for entrepreneurs and families within the metro-Detroit area. Founded in 2006, the organization has a tradition and commitment to offering quality programs and services to youth and families in the city of Detroit. In 2010, a new strategic plan was introduced to provide alternative financing products and services to individuals not generally supported as customers by conventional, regulated financial institutions in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.

Luke 34:36- 34 :"And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful"

The Micro-Enterprise Program - is directed towards providing clients with direct loans up to $2,500 for those ready to establish, sustain, or expand a business and to individuals with limited to no credit or slightly blemished credit histories who wish to purchase a vehicle. Small business development is a necessary ingredient to restoring economic vitality to Southeast Michigan. We recognize that fostering entrepreneurship is a critical part of building healthy communities. Our Small Business Loan Program keeps residents in the Metropolitan Detroit area. By helping small business owners build an enterprise, Equity in Partnership Microlending enables these individuals to assemble assets to support their family and to contribute to their communities.

Equity in Partnership Microlending is a Christian independent nonprofit 501 c3 organization developed to provide micro-economic development support services for low-to-moderate income clients throughout the metro- Detroit area.
