Mission Statement

Valley AIDS Council, Inc. will provide and expand the capacity of HIV/AIDS services in South Texas. Services will be provied to individuals infected, affected or at risk of HIV/AIDS and related co-morbidities. Valley AIDS Council, Inc. will accoumplish this be providing HIV/AIDS medical care, medical training, research, medical case management, social ervices, education, pervention, outreach, substance abuse services, testing and counseling.

Description

Valley AIDS Council has been committed to providing HIV prevention, testing & counseling, and medical care in South Texas for the past 26 years. VAC has locations in Brownsville, Harlingen, and McAllen that provide free anonymous and confidential HIV testing. With our rapid HIV testing you can test for HIV and receive results within 1 minute. Blood tests for HIV can also be conducted and results can be received in 2 weeks. We also provide free testing for Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia and you can receive results within 2 weeks.
