Mission Statement

We're having a great time in Downtown Matthews, NC. Matthews Alive! is a Labor Day festival for the whole family. We provide music, entertainment, food, a full children's carnival, and the best arts and crafts around! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for local non-profit groups to raise funds for their organization to benefit the community. Proceeds from Matthews Alive! go directly to the non-profits that work in different areas of our festival. This festival is developed by area volunteers who work year round to ensure a great event.
