Mission Statement
The Mission of the Belfry Music Theatre is to bring excellence in entertainment by presenting art that bridges gaps, inspires hope, offers solutions for reconciliation and ultimately finds redemption; interactive presentations that challenge us to explore a life of meaning and purpose.
Our theater lives on the corner of faith and hope, while being dedicated to the stewardship of our community’s God given talents and resources.
Description
Located outside one of Americas 10 top vacation resorts, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We are the first summer stock theater in the state, originally built in the first Morman church in our area. The Belfry theater was home to such greats as Paul Newman, Harrison Ford, Gary Burghoff and Del Close. After 14 years of sitting vacant and needing attention, the Belfry is currently under reconstruction and opening summer of 2016. Next to our theater is the original Actors House which once housed 12 actors, now open to young men who agree to a 9-month mentoring program to find purpose and direction in their lives. This is a dual purpose mission.
