D.R.E.A.M. stands for Ditto's Rescue, Every Animal Matters. Jonnie Ben is the head of D.R.E.A.M., and her kitty Ditto was her best friend and her baby. On Feburary 4th, 2011, Ditto was put to sleep after a long and happy life spent almost entirely with her human companion. Jonnie founded D.R.E.A.M. to continue the memory of Ditto and her contribution to Jonnie’s life through rescuing cats and other animals just like Ditto; ones in situations that could improve with a new, happier home, where they can live out their lives in happiness, warmth, and companionship.
We are always in need of volunteers for numerous things, and you would be helping out our kitties & puppies!
We need volunteers for morning & evening shifts at our Petco locations. Morning shifts need to be between 7-9AM, and evening shifts need to be completed before store closing. Responsibilities include refilling the food and water bowl, scooping the litter box, cleaning the cattery, and playing with the kitties.
We are in need of fosters for cats and dogs! Whether you would like to foster an adult or a litter of kittens or puppies, or even nurse a sick animal back to health, we need you!
We need help setting up and breaking down for our events. We have many opportunities available for earning community service hours.
We need more volunteers to help coordinate fundraiser activities. We would also appreciate sponsorship for some of our animals to help with food & medical bills.
