The National Kidney Foundations provides vital programs and services in the community that aim to reach the 1 in 3 American Adults at risk for kidney disease as well as the 1 in 9 currently affected, most of whom don't event know it.
Some of NKF's programs and services include: "Your Kidneys and You" presentations; "KEEP Healthy" kidney health screenings; "Kidney Walk" - NKF's signature event held in 81 communities around the country that raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients and their families; "NKF Cares" toll-free patient hotline; "My Food Coach" (on-line or via mobile App) is designed to help you understand and manage all nutritional requirements, especially if you have kidney disease or other dietary concerns, and offers personalized nutrition information.
