Mission Statement

To bring a smile to a needy child's face. To bring a little more happiness to a family that may be struggling with not just the financial burden of paying medical bills but with the mental burden of watching their child struggle. To bring a better quality of life to that child who without our help may never get the attention they need.

Description

The Heart of Gold Foundation provides the funds needed to help needy children who through no fault of their own have become faced with an insurmountable amount of health and financial issues. Everyone with the Heart of Gold Foundation donates their time; as the Foundation does not have any paid staff. We have various fund raisers throughout the year and donate to the Dallas Children's Hospital Cardiac Unit. Some of the fund raisers include crawfish boils, various happy hours, bachelor auctions, silent auctions, and our biggest fund raiser the annual golf tournament. All of these fund raisers take a lot of time, effort, care, but most of all love for the cause, which is something that everyone with the Heart of Gold Foundation has. We would love for you join us even if it is only for a short time and help us put a smile on a needy child's face.
