San Diego Toy and Doll Museum

Description

We are a start up organization and are almost ready to open our doors to the public. We will have a museum gift shop that will offer unique, educational, and interesting toys, dolls, and books to stimulate children's imaginations and further their development. We have a rare historical exhibit on the LEGO toys, which started in Denmark making wooden toys in the 1930s. The exhibit will include displays prepared by Master Builders and a hands-on area. The museum will feature many toys and dolls from various time periods and cultures, giving unique opportunities to people of all ages to share stories and learn about history and childhood development. Workshops will also be conducted once a month to further educated and entertain children through crafts and other hands-on activities.
