Mission Statement

The mission of Deepwood is to preserve the historic integrity of the house and gardens as a living museum and estate for public education and enjoyment.

Description

Deepwood is an 1894 Queen Anne Victorian historic house museum located on 4.5 acres of historic gardens and nature trails in downtown Salem. We offer a variety of events and programs throughout the year.

This organization has many places you can volunteer at and it gives you the opportunity to look at new things. It makes you want to volunteer anywhere because it gives you the description and the requierenments. It has may placed to chose from and it is very fun to dig for what you want. This organization also gives you the opportunity to talk to others and find what works for your schedule. Overall, it’s very handy and is a great way to sart helping your community.
