Mission Statement
The mission of the Outreach Center of West Houston is to provide the community with a dynamic facility offering an array of programs and services through which individuals and families can restore purpose and productivity to their lives, learn new skills, develop healthy relationships and experience positive mental, physical, spiritual and emotional growth.
Description
The Outreach Center of West Houston was incorporated in 1996 as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
One measure of OCWH’s importance to the community is that our doors opened about 125,000 times in 2013 (over 10,000 monthly visits)! Our community partners and programs aim to further our efforts to connect with and build the community. Existing programs such as CrossWalk Houston, Twelve Step Recovery groups, the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, Food Addicts in Recovery, Young Life Stratford and Family Point Resources continue to positively impact the community through their increased utilization of the center.
