Mission Statement

Acknowledging that only through empowerment of peoples can sustainable development be accomplished, e-KSS works to provide tools and techniques to implement an "empowering the peoples for sustainability" model.

Its results represent both an efficient conservation strategy and an effective improvement in quality of life for rainforest indigenous communities.

Our mission is to promote exchange of knowledge between Rainforest Indigenous Peoples in the Amazon and in Canada, while promoting the observation and interpretation of correct interfaces with government, private sector and other stakeholders actively working to bring the puzzle pieces together for common good.

Description

e-KSS Inc. is an international non-profit organization which focuses on reducing health care inequities in remote and isolated communities around the world.

Our vision is to promote knowledge exchange, local ownership and culturally appropriate interventions in health care management.

By working with locals who are advocating for change in their communities, e-KSS™ is empowering women by giving them a chance to generate economic opportunities and safeguard their human rights, while at the same time, providing culturally appropriate continuing medical education for local health practitioners and midwives.

For nearly a decade, e-KSS™ has relentlessly developed joint action plans with the largest Amazon indigenous federation responding to their peoples’ expectations for improved health outcomes. As a result of our work, e-KSS™ is now an official partner of the United Nations’ Every Woman Every Childmovement.
