Family Service Association of Glens Falls, Inc. began its human service operations in 1910. Over the years the organization has evolved into a multi-crisis human service agency. The agency is located above the Association for the Blind, 144 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York.

Family Service is a non-profit human service agency, providing emergency services to those individuals or families facing a crisis. Many of our clients work low- paying jobs or are disabled, and will not qualify for assistance from the Department of Social Services. Family Service is dedicated to helping our local families as they cope with situations beyond their resources- financial and emotional. Our services offer a temporary resolution to assist them through an unexpected job loss or a long illness.

Our needs are always increasing. We help people ranging in age from infants to the elderly with food, medicine, infant products, dental, medical and special needs for those unique crises which other human service agencies do not provide.
