Mission Statement

Changes for New Hope is a Peruvian registered NGO that was created in 2009 to reach the children of the Peruvian Andes living in desperation and despair. Developing self esteem and opportunities for them, we also provide academic help, art projects, material support such as shoes, clothing school materials and recreational activities. Our vitamin distribution project is reaching 5000 children and to address the ravages of anemia, malnutrition and parasite infestation.

Changes for New Hope also raises awareness by our Haz lo Correcto-Do the Right Thing initiatives which has helped to develop a sense of community mindedness and cooperation.

We also reach out to the international community to address the apathy present worldwide to the plight of children everywhere that suffer because of it. We belive that apathy is humanity's most profound humiliation.

Description

Changes for New Hope is active in seven groups totally over 800 children. Our three main focuses are Art projects and exhibitions which build self esteem, Haz lo Correcto-Do the Right Thing, which develops a life headed in the right direction, and our Vitamin/Anti-parasite program which reaches thousands of children suffering with parasite infestation and anemia with their afects upon the childrens lives.

We partner with local law enforcement and the fiscalia (equivilent to the states atorneys office) to address juvenile delinquency prevention via our Do the Right Thing initiative.

Our vision is to develop children from the inside out. From destitution and despair to hope and opportunities.
