Mission Statement

Hearts and Hooves brings miniature horses to people who need therapeutic healing. We provide pet therapy to children and adults in schools, hospitals, hospices and home care who have experienced emotional and physical abuse, severe illness, disabilities and other difficulties.

Description

Hearts and Hooves visits Shriners Hospital for Children, Kiwanis House, Children's Receiving Home, Land Park Academy, nursing homes, Alzheimer's clinics, schools for the developmentally disabled, autistic children and other institutions. One to four of our miniature horses are taken on the visits.
