Mission Statement

Sparklestone is committed to utilizing the media to explore the impact of chronic illness on the individual and the family. Our first project, "My Skin's on Fire" was the first documentary to focus on the impact of psoriasis on the emotional and psychosocial areas of life. It has the support of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Our current project will explore the impact of the disease on children and their families. We are seeking support for this project on a number of levels.

Description

Much of our work centers around fundraising. Once funds are secure we can move forward and begin media production. In addition, we maintain a website. Our first documentary involved lots of travel, going around the country and screening the film for support groups in a number of cities. These activities are labor intensive and require large amounts of time and energy. Nearly all the work is done by the President. Help is needed!
