Mission Statement

The Young Professionals Group is a volunteer organization composed of young men and women dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and abuse. The organization supports programs and services of Between Friends by creating awareness, educating the community and raising funds through networking and social events. Our belief is that everyone is entitled to a life free of domestic violence regardless of socio-economic status, race, religion, sex, culture or sexual orientation.

Description

Between Friends, formerly Friends of Battered Women and Their Children or "Friends," is a nonprofit agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and abuse by providing education, support, counseling, and advocacy services. Between Friends' Young Professionals Group or "YPG" is a diverse group of men and women dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support the programs and services that Between Friends provides and recruiting volunteers to assist in the projects and mission of Between Friends.
