Why are only the volunteers reviewing this organization? Why aren’t the people who adopted dogs with them reviewing the organization?

I'm proud to be a part of this group. We are a small, personable organization comprised of volunteers that truly care about rescuing dogs. Whether you want to be a foster home, do something on the computer, help with fundraising, events, etc. there is something to do that will help us to grow and continue to help save more dogs!

I like Ruff Start Dog Rescue-IL because there are very responsible people working everyday to help dogs. Very quick response from the organization's leaders, medical staff, expert advise is always available. Food, vet care, toys are provided to help our dogs feel like at home. Dog adoption events are fun and volunteers always looking to promote our rescue group. I invite everyone to join Ruff Start Dog Rescue-IL :)

I am also a foster dad for the Ruff Start Dog Rescue group - people that rescue shelter dogs to be safe from the death row in this group have so much passion and love for every doggie they pull! From vetting to transportation, from training and helping foster families with questions that may arise during the fostering time amazes me every day! I would definitely recommend the Ruff Start Dog Rescue of Illinois to my friends, family, co-workers, neighbors - it's a great place to be and help dogs that need us!

I am proud to be an active foster for Ruff Start! This org was formed by some of the most dedicated and level headed people I've known in rescue. They make decisions in the best interest of the dogs they save, and the volunteers rally together to support the dogs and each other. I'm a single mom and already have a VERY high energy (adopted) dog, but they understand what kind of foster dog will fit in my home so it works out well while that dog is in my care. They are also committed to providing quality care for these dogs. Ruff Start is judicious with their budget and doesn't take on more than they can handle, which can lead to cutting corners at some rescues. It's been a great experience, come try it out!
