Mission Statement

The Grundy County Housing Authority was formed in 1947 for the purpose of providing affordable housing opportunites for low income residents of Grundy County, Illinois. We are an independent Illinois municipal corporation, formed pursuant to the Illinois Housing Authorities Act, and governed by a 5 member Board of Commissioners.

Description

We are an independent Illinois municipal corporation, formed pursuant to the Illinois Housing Authorities Act, and governed by a 5 member Board of Commissioners.

Today, with the help of our partners, we provide homes, meals, physical and mental health programs, and a host of other services to over 140 households with elderly and disabled residents.
