Upper Peninsula Health Access Coalition, in cooperation with 5 local Access Coalitions, seeks to promote the goal that all residents of Michigan's Upper Peninsula have access to quality health care with dignity.

Description

UPHAC is a nonprofit organization established in 2004 which supports the work of five local access to health care coalitions that leverage and coordinate medical services and pharmaceuticals for needy working-age uninsured adults who live in the 15 counties of Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. It does this through research, community and governmental relations, collaboration with medical provider organizations, promotional programs, grant-writing and fund-raising activities, outreach with state and national Access organizations and other support services.
