Mission Statement

Artcroft's mission is to provide direct support to artists and the community. The Artcroft Residency Program allows literary and visual artists a rural and serene environment in which to work "creatively with a minimum of distraction". Support to the community is via arts programing, collaborations, small venue presentations, and partnerships.

Description

Artcroft endeavors to encourage a creative environment on a 400 acre hill farm in Central Kentucky. We are striving to support the arts by hosting creative individuals in many disciplines, from around the world and across the United States. The Residency experience is intended to be cooperative through the preparation of meals and a limited number of hours of work exchange. We are in the process of establishing artist studios for ceramics, woodworking, and the visual arts. Plans to develop walking trails and camping opportunities are underway with the cooperation of the U.S. Forestry Dept.
