At the very least, someone could have said "thank you". My shift ended at 11:00am, my phone was locked away, so no one told me what time it was. They just let me keep working. I volunteer all the time, but this is a lot of work. I would not recommend this for anyone, especially not seniors. Also, i contacted them 10 days ago, but no one knew i was coming. There was absolutely nothing in it for volunteers. Not a snack, not a break, not a thank you. They eventually gave me a water, 2 hours into the shift. The one gentleman Javier was nice, I dont know his title. NO APPRECIATION FOR VOLUNTEERS. Never again.

Love the many hands make light work attitude! We were able to pack boxes for seniors. Knowing where and who would be getting what you were packing made everything that much better.

It's a great way to give back. They were very informative statistically on the impact of volunteer (even by just sorting out fruits for 3.5 hours) has helped feed thousands of family. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.
