The Department for the Aging mission is to work to eliminate ageism and ensure the dignity and quality-of-life of New York City’s diverse older adults and for the support of their caregivers through service, advocacy, and education.

Description

Aging Connect assists Older New Yorkers with getting connected with age-inclusive services, resources, and opportunities available to them from NYC agencies, senior centers, and other aging-related organizations. During the COVID-19 Crisis, Aging Connect has served as the primary contact and connector for older adults and the families in need of food, services, and information about senior center closures.
