Mission Statement

The purpose of PHS is to further, by all appropriate means, the study, appreciation, and oral and written interpretation of the history of the region of the Pettaquamscutt Purchase of 1658, to foster the acquisition and preservation of collections of historic interest, and to encourage the preservation and marking of historic sites.
