The Salvation Army, an International movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination

Description

The Salvation Army in Garland has a Social Service office, helping people in need with food, rent and utlilities. We also have a Boys and Girls Club, providing an After School Program. Our music program includes vocal and brass music as well as creative arts (dance & drama). The Salvation Army is funded by donations, the major fund raising campaign is November - December during the Red Kettle Campaign with bell ringers.
