Mission Statement

ePhilanthropyFoundation.org is a 501 (c ) 3 nonprofit organization devoted to fostering the SECURE, PRIVATE, AND ETHICAL use of the Internet for Philanthropic purposes. The ePhilanthropyFoundation serves multiple constituencies, most importantly, non-profit organizations and the general public. The Foundation believes it is critical that the integrity and security of the Internet be promoted, and that the public continue to grow their confidence in making online philanthropic transactions. The Foundation's board is comprised of individuals from both the non-profit and private sectors in what is a private/non-profit sector partnership. Furthermore, as non-profit organizations around the world plunge headlong into a completely new medium, one with few ethical models, there is a critical need for standards, information, models and assistance. This void is being filled by ePhilanthropyFoundation. The major focus of ePhilanthropyFoundation is nonprofit organizations and the publics they serve, and to foster an online environment in which donors and potential donors can feel secure about their online transactions with non-profit organizations.

Description

The ePhilanthropy Foundation helps large and small nonprofit organizations learn to utilize the best Internet practices and services to build and enhance relationships with supporters, raise money, and build trust among donors. ePhilanthropy.org provides live and online training to charities for the ethical and efficient use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes.
