Mission Statement

In the Central Highlands of Kenya, Flying Kites provides a home and school for orphaned children who have suffered the effects of abuse or homelessness.

Description

1. HOME


We run a home for orphaned children who were unable to remain safely within the wider community. Many of the children who live at our site have been the victims of severe abuse, or were previously homeless.

2. SCHOOL

We operate a primary school that serves 60 orphaned and vulnerable children. Our school offers a competitive education, a lunch program and a holistic learning experience.

3. SCHOLARSHIPS

Across Kenya, we provide scholarships, mentorship and career counseling to impoverished students who would otherwise be unable to remain in school. From pre-school to university, we help those who are fighting for a fair chance.
