Mission To improve the health of the individuals and communities we serve through compassionate, high quality care. Vision To be a nationally recognized, independent health system consistently providing outstanding quality, service, affordability and outcomes. Grace Medical Center (formerly Bon Secours Baltimore Hospital) is the first hospital built by the Sisters of Bon Secours in the United States. After 100 years of operation, the hospital is now a LifeBridge Health facility, along with a primary care practice and two behavioral health facilities in the West Baltimore community. Grace Medical Center offers emergency care, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, renal dialysis and diagnostic services. Offsite locations provide primary care, drug treatment and outpatient behavioral health services.
At Grace Medical Center, volunteers have the opportunity to help serve our patients and the community. Our volunteers are placed in areas where their skills are best paired. Opportunities to serve can range from assisting patients, visitors and their families or clerical or administrative help in varying departments.
This satisfying experience may range from assisting patients and their families to helping with office filing or organizing a donated clothing closet. Volunteers are placed in areas where they can best assist throughout the medical center. Ranging from ages 16-90, our volunteers are students, church, community members and retirees. If you are interested, we welcome your assistance.
